Unable to load up Madden on EA Play First Play Trial - Stuck on loading screen

Every time I load up madden 21 ea access, The loading bar to get into the game freezes and my screen darkens. I tried redownloading the game still won’t work I have wasted 30 minutes of the ten hours trying to get past the loading screen.

    @EA_Kent Tell me who would spend another $5 on a pathetic company that is EA. I cannot imagine anyone having EA access on two accounts on the same console. This issue hasn't been addressed and consumers haven't been compensated. Atrocious product from all the games this year on this trash subscription. How they charged full price for uncompleted games should be illegal. We get it, you guys didn't have time to finish because of the circumstances this year. But this has to be the hilarious attempt at making a video game. No disrespect to the genuine talent there, because they needed time and a voice and they didn't get it because of those greedy weasels in authority. This basic problem literally been going on for weeks and seen absolutely no effort to change it. If next gen is going to be different, than address that. When EA play goes to Game Pass, a larger network of gamers will realize the disgrace that is EA if these basic bugs are yet to be concerned upon. I only play sports video games and its a disgrace that these are my options.

    FIFA 21 - haven't even updated player faces
    - career mode schedule is not true to the IRL material
    - europa league groups not fixed in (UCL is however)
    - player career mode hasn't changed in the slightest (Alex Hunter for 3 years is the clearest example of deaf tone)

    NHL 21 - nobody plays it (cannot play online)
    - no roster update even following launch and free agency
    - slow menus (again x7)
    - ratings are awful (clear the developers don't watch hockey)
    - NHL 15 IS A DISGRACE AND WAS A CRIMINAL OFFENCE THE WORST GAME IVE PLAYED (BOUGHT DISCOUNTED)

    NBA LIVE - there's a reason why EA haven't made another installment in the live franchise game in 2 years (it is dreadful)

    MADDEN 21 - literally can't play it
    - heard a lot of bad things, fact that it has already been
    discounted at retail stores shows the severity of this shame

    UFC 4 - missing key fighters (top 10 ranked)
    - childish submission system
    - redundant career mode

    Enjoy my $5, you will not be getting another dime.
    Send this to people in position of power.

    @EA_Kent @i am playing on ps4. using the way trial, my psn is McSlimey-_- and every time i try to load it up i  get stuck on the showtime portion of the loading screen. i really want to enjoy the trial of the game but i won’t be able to play at all if the 10 hours is spent trying to load the game. please do something about it please email me @[edit: email address removed]. i’d very much appreciate it.

    Summarize your bug I hava Ea Play, but 10 hour trial is not working cant be able to open any game modes sometimes freezing in loading screen i want to buy it but game is not working i tried to open everyday... cant connect ea account

    What worked for me was going onto Madden and once it freezes when it hits "Showtime" go to internet settings and disconnect and then reconnect to internet. Once you go back on it says you have been disconnected. And then it reloads you straight into the main menu

    Nope, still no good for me. Stuck at showtime. Have made it through to the main screen on a few occasion but I still am unable to click on any of the options.

    Is there an ETA on the fix?

    Yup that happened to me once too once I got through, it would not let me click any game mode

    I am having this issue as well. Only one account on the PS4. All my trials for other EA games work fine, in fact I am able to play the FIFA 21 flawlessly. I don't understand why the trial for Madden 21 gets stuck on the loading screen at "showtime". I have searched all over the internet for this and many people have the same issue. The only people who don't have this issue are the ones who purchased the full game. Clearly this issue is not of extreme importance to EA, as this has been a problem for weeks. I would rather you guys be transparent and admit the trial is no longer available, rather than advertising it as functional. This just doesn't make any sense. It is clear the purpose of a trial is to promote the eventual purchase of the game, but how can you decide to purchase the game when EA places a barrier on the trial itself?
