Update Ruined My Face of the Franchise

Summarize your bug The update turned my halfback into a quarterback and erased all of his progress and abilities in the halfback position.
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know dude. Update your game I guess.
What happens when the bug occurs? Described it above.
What do you expect to see? My money back for this bunk game.

Prior to the latest update on 9/8/2022, I had halfback playing for the Texans in Face of the Franchise. However since the latest update all of his abilities have been wiped out, and replaced by quarterback abilities. When I load into Face of the Franchise he is categorized as a quarterback, but still playing in the halfback position in games.

How do I get my halfback abilities and progress back?

    YES!!! i was a 92!! CB for Az and now im a 76 Az QB but my challenges are for a cb and my practices also. kinda sad that was a lil bit of grinding.

    i got on madden 23 next gen and i was chillin playin on my 88 ovr linebacker then my game crashed right before i was abt to play the super bowl i opened the game up and now the LB is gone i cant waint until 2k can make nfl games again id rather ronnie then the people over at ea making horrible games year after year

    Playing on XBOX ONE. Had to try several times to sign with a team. Was forced to sign with Vikings. The 2nd game of preseason, I was now on Raiders. Had to play game 2x to advance. 3rd game I was back on Vikings and had to okay 2x. 4th game back on Raiders and played 2x to advance. Now Season Goals appears 8x and now way to set goals. Also no way to play game

    @wkwashburn483 Exactly happened to me!
    My saved file for HB moved to QB. The only stats that stayed were the HB title in the upper right, and accomplishments. I could play as HB but all skills were lost and instead I was lvl 1 and now had to skill him up using QB skills. When I started a new HB in the now newly vacant HB save slot, my HBs skills were restored but had to start at square one in Face of Franchise.
    TLDR : Selecting Notifications and then selecting New Franchise League Game Results messed up my save files.
    This BUG OCCURRED when I selected notifications and then hit X on NEW FRANCHISE LEAGUE GAME RESULTS. The screen flashes black with some blue and that’s when my save file went wonky.

    Not only did this happen, but also glitched my qb  after one season with a black screen. Had to delete the player. FOTF is not even worth playing its so bugged.
