I'm on Xbox One & last night I received a message last night that I have been permanently banned for "Coin Distribution." The message stated that I would receive an email providing further details. I have not received any email yet with any details. I have played Madden for over 20 years & have never once purchased coins, distributed coins or done anything that would fall outside the terms of service. As someone who has spent a significant amount of money on the Madden franchise over the years, I'm outraged by the lack of communication & severity related to what I can only assume is an error or glitch. I have opened a case & I am hopeful that this will be resolved quickly. This is absolutely no way to treat paying customers who spend time & money only to be disrespected. I also expect that this ban will be applied to any & all parties who are openly & blatantly violating TOS on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter & other platforms.If anyone else is facing a similar situation, please feel free to share your situation. @EA_Sports Why is it EA blames all of us that are banned for the market being broken. We are blamed for violating the rules in the TOS. Our actions have damaged the in-game economy. How are we damaging the in-game economy when you all do giveaways dump trucks and produce broken packs and bundles in store that you all later have to issue make rights for. Yet you all really believe we are the reason for Madden 21’s already broken in-game economy. This game is broken the economy is broken your team of developers broke this game many other games. EA needs to take accountability for all of this, instead you all deflect and attack the community. So you expect us all to believe that the robot or program you all put in place to ban us and sanction our accounts (permanently) works perfectly fine,. and has no bugs or glitches. The fact is the program or robot you all put in the game to flag and ban accounts is completely broken like the rest of your games at EA. I can’t remember the last time Electronic Arts produced any good game. Like I said before this is only beginning to pick up speed and gain traction an avalanche is coming and you all will be looking for a job. @EA_Bluefairy.

Choose Madden NFL 21
Scroll to the bottom & choose "Contact Us"
Choose Madden NFL 21, your platform, "Manage Account" & then "Restore Account"
Request a call back
Once you get on the phone explain the situation & they will create the new sanction case, escalate it to the TOS & keep your original case "in progress"

If you try to "Resume" your original case, you'll get bumped to the end of the line.

Same here, banned 2 days ago for “cheating” and received an email that I was suspected of coin farming. I do not use farm accounts and do not violate any of EA’s terms of service. I have opened a case with no resolve and I’m just stuck here without a game I paid full price for and a mode I have spend even more on. Unacceptable treatment of paying customers.

@EA_Barry EA’s treatment of this community is embarrassing. Hopefully Kraelo’s message during the stream yesterday is a wake up call to the-powers-that-be. The email I received at 1 am accused me of using a bot. ALL OF MY AUCTION HOUSE ACTIVITY IS MY OWN. I’ve been recovering from ankle surgery and I’ve had more time on my hands than usual. This is absurd.

I received the same ban on Friday.. still have no fix and I am still banned. I have one account and I have never farmed coins or anything of that sort.. My team is average at best and I have like 80k coins.. it makes no sense. I have spent so much time on the game and I've been cut out of playing the game all weekend

I was also accused of farming coins and I have never done such things. I buy my packs and players with coins that I earn and from grinding challenges/seasons/WL and cards that I sell from packs on the auction house. I feel severely cheated considering all these content creators that promote coin distribution websites on their twitch/YouTube videos. I’ve spent countless hours and more money than I’m comfortable admitting to on this years ultimate team. As a 20+ year customer of the game, I’m severely disappointed in how EA has treated the “common consumer”. Just because I’m not streaming your game every time I play it doesn’t mean it’s okay to ban me for something that these content creators are doing even though they bring higher amounts of traffic to your game.

Me too - no explanation of what’s happening or any recognition that players are being falsely accused due to a messed up bot potentially related to the next gen update. I also can’t access any game modes. Super frustrating

96 HOUR UPDATE - I received an email from the TOS team stating that I am being accused of “using a bot or other external tool.” Never happened. I’ve never done anything remotely close to this. I’ve used EA’s companion app. That’s all. I tried to get answers from EA Help in a live chat but was told that there is a dedicated sanction team.

Clearly something is wrong. For the record, I’ve never used a bot or external tool to manipulate the Auction House (wouldn’t even know how). I’ve never had a farm account. I think I’ve used the trade block once since it was introduced & that was in ‘18. I’ve never bought or sold coins. I’ve never promoted coin buying or selling (which is more than can be said for folks on social platforms). I honestly have no idea what is going on with this ban but it’s ridiculous. Especially the fact I’ve never broken TOS in over 20 years of playing Madden & for some unknown reason I catch a permaban?!?!
@EA_Barry I hope as a community manager you are advocating for the members of the community who are looking for answers regarding this ban.

When I look at “My cases” it says “in progress.” The last update was 12/6 @ about 4:30 am.

This “ban ‘em all & let TOS sort ‘em out” is really absurd. From what I’ve gathered between here, MUTHead, Reddit, Twitch, Twitter & YouTube, this ban has hits hundreds if not 1000s of people. Doesn’t seem fair to put that type of burden on the TOS team at the busiest time of year.
And FWIW, this ban is so disproportionate to the situation & there are so many things wrong here. It’s clearly not being universally enforced. The fact that so many first time offenders are caught up in this shows how little attention is being paid. There are definitely some bad apples out there but I’m going to assume that most of the people affected weren’t doing anything malicious or grossly negligent. I will never understand why EA treats their community with such disdain.

@DeuceQuattro24 - I spent total 3 days 7 hours since 8/28/20 in this game. I don't use companion app and I I do go to action house. I only sell if I pull something from pack.
