United States - Anonymous8 years agoIm on the verge of giving up. Let face it, regardless of what EA said, they won't ever fix it. If they want to, they would already did. This is poor customer service at its best. I have tried to be patient and civil but at this point, don't hope on it.

Anything on this? Seems like EA is losing a ton of money here and I find it hard to believe they wouldn't be working on a solution. I've seen hundreds of people posting on multiple different boards all having this issue (and those are just the people I seen complaining on a message board).
This isn't a missed reward or small game play issue, this is hundreds/thousands of customers trying to give EA money! Many of these people would be dropping hundreds of dollars on promos that have run. How in the hell has it taken this long to resolve?
Personally I think it's the issue is a pricing error. I noticed the price for the featured special was different when I logged in on my Apple device and then when I logged in through Blue Stacks on my CPU. My guess is when we tried to purchase the special it caused a glitch and the iTunes store couldn't process the request at the wrong price.
I was able to login to my account through Blue Stacks and use Google Play to make in game purchases, but obviously that isn't an option anymore with Google Play no longer supporting the game. Now I'm back to missing promos again and not being able to buy anything! Serious issue that has to be fixed ASAP.

Madden Cash / Storekit purchase error unresolved since being reported nearly right after release of the app. EA has been either unwilling or unable to resolve this issue for tons of players. On one hand I've saved hundreds. So thank you for your procrastination. On the other hand you're laziness or incompetence has cost you countless dollars. What's the hold up? Why are you refusing to address or resolve this issue that so many players are bringing up? EA Barry you're feedback has been sporadic and unhelpful. Please assign a different mod. Give your customers the attention they deserve.

There should be a way to cancel out the StoreKit transaction that's causing the problem and start fresh. Every instance I've read about started when buying a special offer and after this attempted purchase everything is off limits until the transaction is complete.
- Same issue! Been over 30 days for me also. I just looked at my case and they switched it to resolved. I have no idea why since I am unable to purchase still.

This happened to me twice in the space of two weeks so i know how frustrating it is but here is what worked for me.
1. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID.
3. Tap Sign Out.
4. Turn off your device completely, wait 2 minutes, and then restart.
5. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.
6. Tap Sign In, then enter your Apple ID and password.
I did this multiple times probably due to frustration so try it a few times if it doesn’t work, but i would update things if they need to be updated, then log out before you go to bed, and log in in the morning hopefully this should give it enough time to work.
If you don’t already have a case open with apple i would contact them (please be patient and polite with them as they will do their best to help you) explain to them the issue that you are having, that EA say it is an apple problem, and aren’t willing to accept any responsibility for the matter, that you find it frustrating and feel that the money you spent on the app has been wasted and ask them if it is possible to reclaim any of it.
