Madden mobile resource download error

I have tried reloading the game and restarting my phone but am having the same issue. When I try to start an event or game.m, it gives me the download screen and the message downloading animations but will go no further. When I back out of the game and come back it tells me resource error to connect to the Internet. I've tried it on wifi and off and have the same problem both times.

I updated the game this morning, since the update I have been unable to play the game. I click the live event and it goes to the downloading Content screen. After 10 seconds it says Reference Download error you must be connected to the internet. First off I have full bars 4g and I tried on WIFI. I have attempted to trouble shoot. Cleared cache,restart phone, turn off phone for some time, restart app, re download app with no success. If i can download the app then I know I have internet. I really hope I don't lose my team. This will be the second time I lost my team. My 1st one I lost was 80 overall. This team is 81 overall. Please help.

I have had the same problem... This is the second time this has happened to. And after trying all posted fixes now I can't get passed the main menu screen. Really makes me mad because I just bought madden cash right before it started..

Madden mobile not working with iPhone 6s. Games loads but I can't enter any games or live events etc. it just says resource error. It still works on my older devices

When I play a game on madden mobile it takes a very long time to load and says resource download error. I have IOS8 because I have no wifi but madden would work but not anymore. I have a IPhone 5S and live in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Plz help.

What version is the operating system on it?

What country are you in?

What is your connection type - Edge, 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi?
