Activation

Hello,

Recently I reinstalled my PC, when I installed origin and my game Mass Effect 3 the game asked me to activate? So how I can activate when the game was already activated and played and when I entered serial number it not accepting the serial says is in use, yes it's in use I'm the owner? How to fix it now?

    This case seems beyond what AHQ covers.  I think you need a game advisor: 

    (With credit for the original to EA's Eve)

    You will need to contact an EA Game Advisor.

    To do so:

            Go to https://help.ea.com/

            Log in with your Origin account.

            Click on "Contact us"

            On the next page select the game you wish help with and click on Go.

            Choose the appropriate options in the drop down menu for "Product", "Category", and "Platform".

            Select the available Contact method of your choice.

  • Install Origin, login with the credentials you used when you first installed Mass Effect 3 and install it from the my games list in Origin via download or use the method mentioned in the sticky to install it from disc.

    Yes, first install Origin from origin.com and then login with the credentials you used when you first installed ME3 on your old PC. The ME3 key you used is tied to this, your Origin account.

    I did what you say reinstalled origin installed the game but when I press play message comes up saying could not activate I have more games and tried to run my medal of honor warfighter and works just this game stuck for activation which is already been activated? Any more suggestions thanks in advance

    Forgot to mention that the game is on my game list and able to download just now not able to play because asking for activation this is something can't understand. Game in my game list activated and not working now ☹️

    Paid for Sims 3 $54.49 on April 11, 2013 at approximately 3:00 AM Central Time.  Have played the game many times since.  Tonight I get a box from Origin that I need an activation code!!!  And Origin also has no history of my download.  Isn't this a hoot!  That night and morning I ended up paying 3 times for one game.  Where is my game?  I checked my c drive and The Sims 3 is loaded.  What is the problem here with the activation code?

    Hi tiggerpogo,

    First, sorry to hear that you are having such a problem but I'm afraid that you are in the wrong forum (community.) This is Mass effect 3 not Sims 3. Sorry. 

    Second, I believe that you need to go back to Origin and login with your Origin ID and PSW. That website has been revised--as of today--May 9, 2013. There is a new BETA version which you will (in all likelyhood) need to install. You can browse through the various areas to find the Forums for SIMS 3 Tech support, or at least the Origin Tech Support team and how to get their help. Good luck to you.
