Yeah I used the appeal process. Then they got back saying after further investigation they're keeping the ban on.
I just have no idea why as all they say is I somehow broke their rules. Yet all I have done is download the game, play around 5-6 games online over a couple of days and then discovered I have been banned. I re-appealed but not sure if it will get me anywhere depending on their reasoning in the first place.
I downloaded the game. Can't be against their rules surely. I played the game a couple of times online to work towards some achievements, again not breaking any rules by doing that. So the only thing I can think of is that someone who's game I joined has reported me for whatever reason, which makes zero sense as the online mode is all co-op based so it's not like you can ruin anyone's experience. But I have heard of things like this happening to people. But a permanent ban with no evidence given as to why seems way too extreme. I don't even have a mic as when I bought the Series X it doesn't come with one, so it's not like I have said anything that could have upset someone online or anything like that.
But the other worry is starting a new account and the same thing happening all over again. All I wanted was to enjoy the Mass Effect and Drago Age series all over again and they have took that from me.
EDIT
After looking around the net, Google came up with posts made on Reddit and a lot of people are having or have had the same thing happen to them. It seems to be mostly new users and the suspected AI bots are banning all new accounts within a short timeframe of the account being made. EA should be making the customers aware of such a technical issue and putting a stop to this, if this is indeed the case.
