@Allison_X5-734You are really out of touch with reality here.
Miranda is a trophy Ice Queen who melts later and has parent issues... not that complex at all. Morrigan/Bastila is very similar for example.
And Jack as sexual appeal lol.. As a hetero sexual male I wanted nothing more from her to put something to cover her boy-like body with ugly tattoos.
(others already wrote about sexy males so I won't waste my time with that.)
I have no problem with "strong" female characters like Aloy (Horizon: Zero Down), female protagonist in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or Kait Diaz from Gears 5
I just want sexually attractive female characters too, like Miranda Lawson and Ashley Williams from Mass Effect, Widowmaker from Overwatch and Sindel from Mortal Kombat 11
I'm male and i want sexy girl as romance option. Hope Bioware will read it.

They're adjusting a camera angle to fix tonal dissonance. Miranda's butt will not shrink in size, or anything like that. In fact, the texture definition will be higher than ever before!

@Fred_vdpI WANT focus on female butts. Why it's acceptable for fully naked male characters but taboo for female characters?!

@instasamka95 I think people are deliberately misinterpreting what has been said because they are bored and need something to be outraged over. Closeups of butts are fine, whether they are a man or a woman's butt. Hell, I'll take a hanar's butt.
The butt isn't the issue. It's secondary. The entire point that was made in the original interview was that the Mass Effect trilogy had a few shots that weren't done very well and they're touching that up to be better. The Miranda scene was given as an example because a closeup of a character's butt in a scene where she expresses anxiety over the safety of her sister is just very nonsensical framing. That's why it has become a meme and that's why people laughed at a scene that was meant to be very serious. If people think a serious scene is funny, then it's a poorly directed scene. I think people are choosing not to understand this.
In the interview, the question that was asked was why the camera was lingering on Miranda's butt in this particular scene. Can anyone actually and truthfully answer that question in a way that could convince any reasonable person that changing this shot would not be an improvement?
