The audio engine on PC is absolutely horrible. I think the game only support Creative SoundBlasters. Anything else, and surround sound is unlikely.
Surround sound works on my setup (SoundBlaster Xtreme Audio). This is what I have in the BioEngine.ini:

i have tried it your way but same result 2 channels audio ,it is so sad because this game to me is special and the music is unbealivable,but no way to fix it to work on 5.1 systems with direct input..
