Yep, happening to me too on PC. The dialogue audio starts a second after the lips start moving, making the whole thing out of sync and the dialogue audio gets cut off just before it finishes. I mentioned it on Reddit too where a few people answered to say they had this problem. It doesn't happen every conversation, probably around half of them. It's getting really annoying now if I'm honest. I have a i79750, RTX2070, 16gb, game installed on NVME M.2 SSD. All drivers up to date, perfectly running system.

Thanks for the extra details @plume808, that could definitely help explain things if this is due to some de-synced audio.
Are you all having this happen at any particular point in a conversation? During the last line as you're ending a conversation, mid-chat, etc.?- 4 years ago
For me, it is always the last line of the first sentence in a dialogue. It does not happen every time/every conversation. Randomly after hitting the A button on my controller to start a conversation, the NPC will move their mouth to talk, but there is a delay of about a second or half second before the game starts to play the dialogue resulting in the NPC line being cut off when the dialogue switches to the second line of the convo or ends to wait for a response from the player. I'm on Xbox one.
- FluidPanNerd4 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Mako for me, it's usually the final word in a sentence. But it could be more than one sentence in a dialogue, or it could just be the end of the first sentence or the last. It's not consistent when it is. However, I noticed it happens with almost all of Joker's dialog about his disease.
- 4 years ago@EA_Mako it had happened few times. In both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. For me I've heard it happen near the end of a conversation.
