If you are going to build a pc then research everything. Ryzen processors are new and have issues with Windows 10. I'd avoid Windows 10 completely unless you get Enterprise LTSB which doesnt have all the rubbish you get with Windows 10 Home etc. Or you can buy Windows 7 Pro online for about $5. Work out what GPU you want, check what CPU is going to work best with it. Then pick a motherboard, that determines what memory you need, and bear in my mind you will want an onboard SSD slot. Get a good case and PSU and reliable drives, if you end up upgrading later those are the things you will keep 🙂
I would reccomend also getting a top of the line power supply(PSU), don't skimp at all, splurge one it, and get one about 50-75% stronger than what you think you need.....it will pay you back in the long run, when you don't have strange issues due to low power, your system doesn't smoke itself due to a low quality one dying in a spectacular way, and you will not have to upgrade for a long while. People often just buy the cheapest they can that meets their minimum needs and then wonder why they have the above issues, when just putting a few more dollars into a quality one, saves them a whole bunch of trouble.
