Box version of LE
Hi So I wanted to put my favourite trilogy on my shelf but since release date I just cant find any box version of Mass Effect Legendary Edition on PC, only phisical versions were on consoles. Do you...
@WARPIG9cz is right, there was only this "Legendary Cache" version available in Bioware's own shop, but it is out of stock now.
Apart from that there is no physical version available for PC.
Hate to rain in on everyone's parade but digital downloads of games on the PC platform is the only option in the Internet Age. Developers may release Collector's Editions in physical form for PC but that's about it. Even then, these will likely have limited production runs & cost a small fortune for a few "extras" like a statuette. Not really worth the extra money if you ask me... I prefer a physical copy but developers are pushing the digital download platform more & more so they can utilize DRM to the max.

I have no idea what you mean by that?
And yes, I know why they do it, but there are benefits for the customer as well.
I like digital download and I am pretty sure many others do as well.
I can buy game in the middle of the night and play it a half hour later.
A physical medium can get defective, a digital download is easily to repair.
You can Pre-Download the game and have it ready to play in the minute of release.
No clutter, and If I want a physical box I can buy a collectors edition or make it by my own.
But the most important point is that modern PCs often simply miss blue ray or DVD drives.
The point was that hard copies of PC games no longer exist except for those so-called "Collector's Editions" that aren't worth the $150+ price tag. Unlike a hard physical copy of the game, one DOES NOT OWN the game in question. A digital download is merely a LICENSE to play the game under certain terms. Developers are forcing the digital download format for the sole purpose of enhanced DRM aka total control of their product/service. Digital downloads should be cheaper vs a physical copy but obviously they aren't. One would think it would be cheaper for a digital download since companies don't have to spend money on manufacturing discs/cases/paper manuals. Nope. Prices are the exact same despite companies not having to spend the extra money on the aforementioned items via the digital download platform...
