BUG - Photo Mode Not Saving- ME1

I am able to launch the photo mode but the photos are not saving.

Have gone to D:\Origin\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\BioGame\ScreenShots after pressing spacebar and "X" on controller to take screenshot but nothing is saving.

Please advise and assist.

  • @cutterchaz Screenshots are saving in your Documents folder. To be precise: Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\ScreenShots

Thanks dude, still weird there's a screenshot folder for each game though.

Also why are they all appearing as .bmp files? They look awful as bitmaps.

Yeah, it's strange choice of the format. Probably the Photo Mode is just an elaborate Print Screen button. Made another post with all the issues I found with it.

  • I am also having this problem, but mine are not saving either. I'm on PC - Origin, and it did not save 6 hours worth of screenshots I took. I'm very upset. I pressed the spacebar and nothing happened. Exited photo mode and heard a shutter sound. I feel something didn't work right.

The screenshot folder for each game is likely due to each game's original pre-existing screenshot output system (separate from the Photo Mode). It's a legacy feature.

That folder is empty for me, too. I've tried taking a bunch of screenshots, and nothing shows up.

Hello, just to say +1, it does not work for me the folder is empty... if someone has a solution?

  • The folder under documents/bioware/etc is also empty for me, getting really frustrated. I wanted to be able to show off my Shepard!
