Curious thing is happening. Typically even at 4k i'm getting in the realms of 150-200+ fps and in less optimized situations 100ish. The game has performed beautifully aside from the fact that on planets in the mako i quite often experience brief frame rate drops that seem to coincide with the weather repeating.
However i ran into my very first cratered issue that makes no sense.
On vermire, Once you get into the base and you talk to the one salarian that tells you what saren has done to his fellow comrades, you can choose to let him go or leave him or trust him, after letting him go, the option to inspect his indoctrinated comrades becomes available to which you can let them out, leave them or kill them. I opted to kill them which kills the music, and then proceeds to show sheppard pop each one rapidly before cutting back to the game. At this exact moment where the cutscene ends, the frame rate instantly tanks, the game becomes an unresponsive mess to the point that even trying to press any keys of any sort results in delay, like the game imploded from that singular choice. Initially i thought perhaps it was the pc i'm on doing something funky, so a restart and reload into the game resuming from a save after i had done that task loads into roughly 9fps or lower frame rate and if i continue to try and play it keeps slowly dropping until it's a pure slideshow.
Out of curiousity i loaded a save JUST as i walked into the prison area before talking to the salarian and the performance instantly leaps to 200+, smooth as silk. Talk to him, and then saved, then investigated the indoctrinated individuals, killed them, and instantly killed performance again. Reloaded, this time i left them which does a different cutscene, and performance remains i can continue. Reloaded, chose to left them out, again different result, but performance remained good, reloaded, chose to kill them, performance tanks.
Anyone else able to reproduce?
