[BUG] ME2 Overlord: David's eyes are improperly shaded with a red alpha layer

See this photo. Pretty self-explanatory. The original does not have this issue.

  • It is actually a change that was made to make David look more like a robotic/human hybrid, not a bug.

  • It's not a bug. Just a modification to show IA/David link, and also the suffuring eyes (Always opened).

  • Can't find a source to confirm but it seem to me as intentional while playing Overlord.

  • I prefer the old look as well. It made him appear more human and allowed me to empathize with him better. The new look stripped away that innocent/victim image and made him look more like a monster. Maybe that's what the devs were trying to go for, but I honestly preferred the subtle yet powerful implications of it rather than outright showing it with demonic red eyes.

  • Looks so much more better now. A person's eyes would be dried out and red from being open so long. Not to mention he is directly connected to the Geth Network. Made the scene far more uncomfortable and saddening.

They would be dried out and red, yes... but not THAT red. If that was the purpose, this is a pretty lazy attempt.

Seems it was a bug, not an intended change as some suggested. From the recent patch notes: "Fixed an issue where a character’s eyes at the end of the Overlord DLC were unintentionally red."
