Something I noticed that seemed to affect the FPS Drop.
I was playing through the mission on Noveria when, during a fight, my companions got trapped behind a door that couldn't be opened til the fight was over. While my companions weren't present in the fight, my FPS seemed to jump up significantly, and as soon as the fight was over and the door opened/they rejoined me, my FPS dropped again.
tagging @EA_David to try and get any visibility to this issue since this is an unusual circumstance that seems to have affected the FPS drop.
