BUG: Spinning Camera , Mass Effect 1 LE

Hello there,

I have been experiencing a bug in Mass Effect 1 , Legendary Edition.

The camera seems to be spinning continuously without me doing anything. Nothing I can do stops it.

I tried relaunching the game, restarting my computer, creating a new save. No success.

The bug makes the game unplayable unfortunately ☹️, since I cant move or see in a straight line.

I think this is a bug.

  • I think I may solved the issue (Partially)

It turns out I had a joystick connected which affected the spinning camera. The game seemed to choose the joystick over my controller and the issue continued.

I agree with Magdovus, an option to switch off controllers in game would be useful.

    Thanks!

  • Hi

I'm getting this too. I think it might be a controller issue. I'd like to be able to disable my controllers as I don't use them for ME.

    Thanks

  • My game crashed, when i reloaded this happened to me.

Only way for me to play it was with it wired after reading this thread

  • I'm still having this issue even after disconnecting all my controllers. The camera still spins like mad even with no other input (double checked to make sure nothing else was plugged in). Has anyone found any other solutions other than just checking for joysticks? TIA

    @Shadmok

Did you restarted the PC after you disconnected the controllers?

There are no other input devices connected whatsoever? (Drawing Pads or such.)

Did you tried to repair the game?

(Origin: Game Library > Right-click the game cover > Repair)

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

  • FIXED: If you have Maxjoypad downloaded on your pc delete it and reload the game.

the only downside to this is that your pc won’t detect controllers being connected so if you really want to play ME1 then use this.
