For everyone that cant get the bottom one and have it as "FAIR" i figured it out. Go down the pathway where the north mining icon is in the map. Follow the path down the first station (is going to be on your left) and you will stop between that second station (also your left) and what looks like a steep mountain pathway (to your right). Go up the mountain (is quite complicated) through the dirt patch and the radar will go to "FAIR" until the mountain goes back down (I took a pic looking down at the path you have to go up (the second station is at the end). Aim the Nomad North eastish and you can see my mining thing in another pic. You have to go up that mountain to another dirt patch (also quite complicated) and you'll see mineral radar go up. Hope this helps
Ah too bad i cant get the upper one lower is depleted and blue on my map but the first one stuck at fair and one moment it is depleted, fair or out of range and leaving the planet ang going back does not help. Ah well i though someone discovered the sweet spot for one more scan for upper one but you only found it for lower. Never mind helpfull post for the people that cant get the lower one. Keep up the good work.
Same here☹️ So many bugs in this game. Ver. 1.08.
- I found that if you find an area where all you can get is low readings that just show a grey bar then find the area with the highest reading and deploy a mining drone. I got a couple of the areas now showing depleted even though I could not get a higher reading that had any of the bars white.
