Can't Download DLC

I purchased the DLC for ME3, but I can't install it.

I click the orange download button, the message "Preparing download" pops up, and then the button changes back to "Download now" or whatever it is. This applies to both the purchased and free versions of the DLC. What baffles me is that I didnt have this problem with Dead Space or DA2, just ME3.

I wish I had read your suggestion before I uninstalled the game holger1405 . Now I'm re downloading it and also uninstalled The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3. It takes time

However thanks in advance for your suggestion, I am sure it's gonna work because my problem started after The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3 🙂

I just blew about $60 on bio points and I bought just about every DLC pack for ME3.

Sez right here on my 'registered game content' page - got it all registered. Can't download it, mind you. But I can definitely enjoy looking at the titles. Well worth the $60.

Specifically, there's isn't even a download link - under the "Download" column, it just says "---" for each entry.

    Is there a fix?

k, that didn't have any effect - I downloaded and installed but it made no diference. Still no access to the DLC packs I paid for.

    Any help?

Go in Origin to „My Games“, put your Mouse over ME3, click the „i“ scroll down to the DLC‘s and Install them.

there is no way to install them since there's no download link there. All my mass effect 2 DLCs show up there and have download links, but all the mass effect 3 stuff jusy shows dashes where it should say download.

For anyone who find this Thread in search for a solution, you don’t need to uninstall “The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3” at all if you don’t want to.

Close Origin then go to your: (Disk):\Program Files [(x86)]\The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3\TheFinalHoursOfMassEffect3\BIOGame” folder.

If you already downloaded the DLC’s there should be a “DLC” folder, relocate this folder (integrate if you have other DLC’s already installed) into the: (Disk):\Program Files [(x86)]\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame” folder.

Start Origin and try the installation of the DLC’s in Origin again.

Should this not work, rename the “The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3” folder in "_The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3” then restart Origin and download the DLC’s again.

Don’t forget to rename the “_The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3” in “The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3” after the DLC installation.

  • I just want to add another solution for the "no download link" for ME3's DLC. (all DLC is sat in Origin stating "queued")...

The aforementioned solution didn't work for me.  My DLC folder was completely empty, and the Extended Cut DLC hadn't downloaded either.  Everything was just showing as "queued".  VERY annoying.  I tried verifying the main game's download, tried repair and checking for updates - all was fine but the DLC sat obstinately undownloaded.  I even started up the game hoping that a connection to EA's servers would kickstart the DLC into downloading.  It didn't, and my game was missing all the DLC.

FINALLY, after almost two hours wasted wrangling with it, I found that you can RIGHT-CLICK the DLC title in Origin and select "Download".  Doh!  That has now solved the problem.  I left the Extended Cut DLC until the end in case it chose to mirror other people's problems in this thread, but it looks like all is working for me now.  The DLC options really should show a Download button, so chalk it down to an Origin fail solved by a frustrated right-click!

    Hi

I know most of these threads are pretty old but for thoses who currently having this problem, I have also found this to be an issue but have found a solution. In your origin window go to the top left hand side and left click origin and the click on to reload my games and that should solve it.

    Kind regards
