@Duel-of-FateYou heave 3 objectives in this order: first disable geth communications, second destroy the destroy the satellite uplink, 3rd destroy the geth flyers and forth disable only alarms when you get inside the base.( only disable the alarms, don't trigger alarms on the other side.) If you do them in this order he will surived i finished 3 times the legendary edition on pc with him alive.
Thank you for the reply. Apology let me bring further clarification.
I have done the following:
- Disrupt the Geth Communication
- Destroyed the Satellite Uplink
- Destroyed the Geth Flyers
- Disable Alarm on the Security Console
I went back to do a third run-through of the Virmire Mission and was able to save Capt Kirahee. So I'm wondering if there's a glitch in the system where sometime it works and at other times it doesn't? I've notice the Remaster of ME1 I'm finding a lot of random glitches. For example, the audio conversations are being cut short. Throughout the Virmire, Noveria, Liara Mission, Feros (all the main quest) I'm finding this. I'm not sure if Bioware even knows of this? Again, this is PC and not console, not sure if the console players are experiencing the same issues?

I am on PC and I did not experienced any of this problems nor most of the other problems you reported.
Do you use any mods?
Did you tried to repair the game?
(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)Did you tried to reset your config files?
- Make sure Origin and Steam are closed
- Go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\BioGame" folder.
- Move the "Config" folder to your Desktop.
- Test.
If that don't helps, create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

You haven't experience audio issue dialogues? Interesting many have.

Yes, and many more haven't as it seems.
This could be a problem with corrupted game files, config files, audio drivers, audio setting, windows files, audio hardware, mods and so on.
It also could be a bug, but without even trying the most basic troubleshooting nobody can say.
