Even with the US account, it doesn't seem to be working at all. it just seems like EA blaming Playstation and visa versa. Hopefully nagging both sides enough will get a resolution. There are many reasons for it, EA haven't authorised the global unlocking for some reason, Sony haven't and so on. Hopefully somebody somewhere will stop deflecting the question and take responsibility for it.
Utltimately its an easy fix. All sony have to do is make the pack avaliable to people that don't own the game. I mean, its useless if you dont own it, and if you do own it you have rights to it. Need to call them and inform them of this, I have already done so.
So after playing I found out that it did not work, on either of my accounts (US and NZ). After reading about apparently, while games aren't region locked, DLC is locked to discs that are coded for each region. So I think I'd need a region one (US) version of the game. Which doesn't solve my problem because I wanted to be able to play it on my original account.
