"Cloud data is corrupted" Preparing Error

I just changed my gaming PC parts (CPU, MB, OS Drive (C🙂, etc.) and am trying to platy games still installed on my old games drive (E🙂 that I'm still using.

I used the method for the app to recognize what games I already had installed on E: drive. For example, I already had ME Legendary Edition installed, and by downloading it to that same path, it just seems to verify ("Preparing") instead of downloading the whole game again.

When I tried starting it, it said "The cloud data for this game is corrupted, and we couldn't detect any local saved data."

Is there any way to get my save game data back? I still have access to my old OS drive, would it be somewhere in the AppData folder? Or is it pretty much lost forever and I have to start over?

Note: I installed ME LE when Origin was still used before it was shut down late last year.

Also, I had Star Wars Jedi Survivor installed which I bought through Steam. Even though that requires the EA app, my save game was still there when I started it.

  • The ME1, ME2, and M3 folder need to go into this location, but keep a backup before copying. If you start the game and make 1 save, I assume it will create this path. I don't if it is a problem if you now have a different user name.

@MinTy1244 Let us know if this works for you. Have some other ideas on this if this does not work.

    Cheers!
