Constant freezing/stuttering every few seconds

I get a freeze/stutter every few seconds when playing this game. Mu specs are far beyong the reccommended so I'm not sure what is happening. It freezes for maybe a second and comes back and it happens every 5 seconds. Any ideas on what the issue could be?


Specs:
Windows 8.1 64 bit

Radeon HD 7950 3GB

AMD FX 6300 Black 6-Core @3.5Ghz

8gb DDR3 RAM

    I fixed it. Turns out the in-game Origin display was doing it. Disabling that has stopped the stuttering altogether.

    This did the trick for  me as well. I was going crazy trying to figure out why my GTX 770 wasn't kicking into high gear. Just a simple solution staring right at me. Thanks!
