Community AdminIf you installed from Origin try to repair your install by right-clicking on the icon in Origin and choosing "Repair Install". If not de-install your game and re-install it. (Don't forget to make a save copy of your game save.)
The error message suggests that something with a world geometry file went wrong and the fact that the game crashes on the elevator makes me think that the installation of that file / geometry component went wrong and got corrupted.
Hi I'd like to give this a bump if I could please, even possibly moved to the Mass Effect forum, I've had the exact same issue.
Is it possible to repair the game via disc? Or if a total wipe needed? Won't I lose my DLC if I do that?
I had this issue until I went into the elevator without my weopons drawn. wierd but now I'm past the elevator! Give that a try.
