Cronos Station infinite loading screen (Legendary Edition, PC)

For a couple weeks now, I've been trying to fix an infinite loading screen before attacking Cronos Station.

I have tried the following:

  • Restarted the game more times than I can count
  • Restarted my computer more times than I can count
  • Uninstalled any and all mods, then attempting to attack the station
  • Verifying the integrity of the games files via Steam
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
  • Loading old saves before saying yes to Hackett

Also: I would try repairing the game via the EA client--but the only option I get when right clicking it or clicking the option dots thing is "play game".

Any help with this would be dearly appreciated; I've already put over 80 hours into Legendary Edition, and I don't want to have to watch the trilogy's ending on YouTube.

    @FloofDroid 

    Make a backup of your "...Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save" folder <- IMPORTANT.
    (Also of the "ScreenShots" folder if you use that.)

    • Delete the "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition" folder
    • Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
    • Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall MELE.
    • At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "Moderate" > Browse.
    • If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
    • When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All (Make sure the "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition" folder is not in the list) > Delete.
    • Restart the PC
    • Reinstall MELE > Start the game once > Copy your "Save" folder back into "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition".
    • Test.
