Deleted a save file but that deleted my main save file as well. Fix?

I was deleting what I thought was an extra career profile. It was different from my main profile that I started and 13 hours in. It stated that it had 0 hours played and was Soldier, not Adept, which...

@finemen_diagrams have you checked in your recycle bin (usually found on your desktop home screen.)? If it's not there, I'm afraid you might be sol.

That's so lame. I have Origin's cloud save on but it doesn't work if I get the game on Steam? So anti-consumer.
