DIALOG SYSTEM | The 'ANTI-FLIRTING' or 'SNAP' option

Kudos for you who remain here, hopeful for MEA success; and endure me as well. 😳

This thread is to talk about a possible anti-flirting or snapping option, that would prompt where the Flirting option happens, but only when talking to hostile people. The idea is making Ryder stand for him/herself and even for others on certain occasions. Keep in mind that, as long as we don't know how SAM learns from our behavior, would making Ryder snapping at people influence SAM being less warm and helpful than he is?

This additional option is not really a RENEGADE thing. It would be most likely a FIRM opinion, usually DEFENSIVE. 👮

I also think that, regarding flirting, flirting could also be triggered from the other part, and we could turn down. The game only makes us flirt, make the first step, but I think it's only too logical that it could also come from the others, which would require your attention to read the signs.

So, tell us if you like this idea or if you have something else in mind. ☕

"DIALOG SYSTEM | The 'ANTI-FLIRTING' or 'SNAP' option" this was the name of this thread. I'm so in need to understand how it shifted to "No Romance or dialog options with Iron Bull". EA, can you change it or ... explain?

I love this idea OP! I would love to see a 'Defensive' optional pop-up for certain characters which could also add to the personality profile.

They don't have to go back to Paragon and Renegade. I like the personality building in MEA, but I wouldn't mind seeing the return of 'Charm' and 'Intimidation' type of options with some characters. Especially since the Pathfinder has a bit of leverage now. ;-)

Would be nice if the "first move" in a romance wouldn't always come from our char. Let NPcs take the step and then you chr can decide if it's worthwhile or "not interested". I so much would love to see that.
Also agreed. While I'm perfectly fine with my Ryder and that she has to learn the ropes and also has to be somewhat diplomatic I would sooo much apprechiate a more "stand your ground" response expecially when the NPC gives a f..ck about diplomacy or acts simply stupid. That's not "aggresive" or "renegade", that's "character" and "self-confidence".

    Reyes starts the flirting.

I was truly disappointed that we couldn't be more aggressive, but maybe I mean assertive, or aggressively assertive. Sheesh. I simply don't think being aggressive is a bad thing. My Ryder is not a punching bag. Standing up for yourself does not equate to being a bully. I truly believe that when a person says something that is illogical, cruel or just plain stupid, you call them on it. Then again, some people say I don't have a filter.

It would be nice to be able to push back every once in a while
