We are aware of surround sound not working @NoobWiper workaround at the moment is not using surround sound.
If you change the bits down to default does the same issue happen @RedVolution77 ?@dominolabustier default sound to the tv or headset?

Also Liara's electronic skill(override) icon is absent when i press shift.
- @EA_Atic The Television. Look, the audio doesn’t sync with the animation sometimes. It doesn’t happen all of the time but, it happens enough to be an issue. Stop trying to unload this on the headset issue. This is a different bug, altogether. Obviously, it’s occurring across platforms. Before you even ask, NO… my sound isn’t hooked into my cable box. It’s the most direct connection.
I’m an animator. I know when audio isn’t in sync with an animation. This appears no different than when I screw up my work. Instead of asking us the same questions over and over (making it look like you’re not really interested in helping) just sit and play the game. It’s happening to enough people that it’s more than likely going to happen to you. Then you’ll know. OR… inform the developers, which it what I’d rather you do, anyway. Just send this bug report to Bioware, ok...? Had the dialogue sync issue since launch and its been super annoying having to shelf the game all because of this one bug that affects Mass Effect 1 and 2 badly, no word on a patch too and don’t have an SSD big enough to install the game in as a “hotfix”.
Does anyone know if there are still stuttering problems after the patch that was released today?
In all three games, the audio tends to lose sync with facial animations, playing later than it should or creating awkward pauses where there were none. Anyone else having this issue?

Nope, at least not on my PC, What platform are you playing from.
Yeah, I'm having the same issues with all three games (Origin, PC). There are several threads here where people describe similar issues, but it seems there's no fix for it. The dialogue desync and audio delays are super annoying and really ruin the game experience ☹️
