Disc 2 cracked, help?

I'm in a bit of a conundrum, and I was hoping someone could help.

Basically, I was playing through Mass Effect 3, loving the gameplay, story and graphics like all hell, and then I'm prompted to change disc. I got up, took out disc 1, put in disc 2, and got myself ready to continue when I was told that the disc couldn't be read. Frustrated, I looked up solutions, and attempted to make the disc readable, to no avail. Eventually, as I was checking it for scratches or dirt for the umpteenth time, I noticed something that I would've otherwise missed.

It was a crack, in the small centre of the disc, and it was small enough that it took me this long to see it.

Dismayed, I tried to think of how it could've happened, but couldn't think of anything. I hadn't attempted to use it until now, I never dropped the case, and I otherwise never took out the case.

I'm not sure what to do, because I looked at thread responses saying that people in similar situations would need to buy another copy of the game, or take it to disc repair. Can someone please help?

P.S. It's the Mass Effect Trilogy, not ME3 on it's own. Also, the discs inside were sometimes prone to popping out of their slots without obvious reasons.
