Looks like there is no fix to the multiplayer random crash... I would assume a game breaking bug had priority over game balancing...
Game crashed but you can continue with your progress is not a gamebreaking bug.Not even if you can't resume an ongoing repeatable session. The key is the word "repeatable".
If a game crash during a match would cause inability to play MMO ever again, now that would be gamebreaking.
Is there any word about the character maker getting fixed in an upcoming update? Is there going to be a plastic surgery or something for those who are already deep in the game but want to fix/change their look?

Random crashes that block any progression in multiplayer, and by random I mean crashes that occur every 2/3 missions is a HUGE gamebreaking matter...
What you just said is irrelevant...
I DO hope they will fix it soon, I myself stoped to play the game and not willing to spend a single $ in this game cause of this bug.
I knew ME:A is more a great solo game than a multiplayer game, but I loved ME3 multiplayer, hoped ME:A would be better, it's a little bit, but not enough yet.
Multiplayer in ME:3 had influence over the solo game, ME:A multiplayer is useless for solo game, meaning you don't have to play it AT ALL.
I know lot of people spent money in ME:3 to get the better stuff quickly, I bet EA is counting on this for ME:A, but with a broken multiplayer game... no more money for them !
Balancing weapons was a good choice cause it was needed, but fixing all these crashes was needed more !
I do hope they'll change the loot crate rewards too... having only 1 weapon per crate and the rest consummable in them is a real pain...
ME:3 loot crate rewards were more reliable and relevant.- Anonymous9 years ago
I too had the infinite loading bug. I had to kill the game through task manager and close Origin, then reload to a previously saved point. That reset me about 5 minutes but was otherwise not a huge issue.
I think that was actually around the End of Watch quest, which in retrospect, might have been the cause of the problem.
Also, I agree, quick saves should be enabled on all games. Most adults who are gamers have responsibilities that mean sometimes, one has to quit on a dime. Having to redo everything or lose everything up until a certain point is ignorant and frustrating. EA is not a newbie company; they should know better.
(I still own my original Starflight from way back and that was an EA game!)
Thanks!

Do you understand that this crash happens randomly in all platforms, it happens a lot someone people report (myself included) around 50% of multiplayer games end up in a crash.
Its a game breaking bug because it halts progression. You get no EXP or Credits unless you finish the game even if you end failing the mission you are not wasting your time.
Spending between 10-15 min on a gold mission for it to crash on the last wave is a waste of time. Even if you were getting EXP and credits when you crash, its a game breaking bug. The game should not be crashing as simple as that, this kind of issues should have priority over everything else. Actually there is mention of the mp crashing bug. Just not in this thread. It's here. Any idea as to a particular timeframe this is to happen, I would love to be able to play again.
It say's the 6th it's supposed to drop!
I had a particular time of day in mind. LOL
The patch notes look good (especially being able to skip autopilot sequences). There are still a few things I'm wondering about if there has been any official statement on, or at least acknowledgement.
1. The audio bug that causes SFX for ambient noise, high ROF weapons, the Nomad, and some other sounds to just stop. This bug is keeping me from coming back to the game for NG+.
2. Full-auto, semi-auto, and burst fire augmentations not appearing in the game. I know something was said about investigating it on Twitter, but this seems like it should be an easy fix. I'm surprised this isn't getting fixed with this patch.
3. Pathfinder weapon set not having any tiers above V, as well as there being no way to deconstruct them.

Don't forget the 77 pages of bugs in the official bug thread here on the official forum that they are not addressing.
@onemadvagabond Additional patches will follow in the next two months. This is just the first based on community feedback. Hang in there. 🙂
