Do Private Matches Count for Weekend Challenges?
In ME3 Multiplayer during one of the Challenge Weekends, if you complete the squad goal but you do it in a private match, does it count? Or does it only acknowledge challenges completed in public games? The reason I ask is because this is the second time I know I completed the squad goal during a challenge weekend, but it says I did not earn a commendation pack. The only connection between the two incidences is that I completed both challenges in a private match. So, has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone else have an answer?

The objective is completed the same way in both case.
If you didn't get your packs, that often happen, you have to contact the EA support for claim them.

The last statement is not strictly true, as there is now a method for claiming missed packs on the BSN home page next to the commendation pack countdown. Here's a link. You can still ask EA Help, but they can take weeks to respond.
