[EA app] Mass Effect Andromeda Missing Deluxe Edition Content

Hey. Yesterday i wanted to replay the ME:Andromeda. I downloaded it, but my "deluxe edition" and "deep space" contents are missing. When i check it by clicking the "manage add-ons" the EA play shows me as they're installed. But when i launch the game, i can't interact with the special delivery cache in the pathfinder cabin, there is no interaction at all. Same with the pyjak message and deep space stuff. Then i checked the game files and i didn't see any files related to said items. Also, my previous progress is missing as well, no "new game +" but this is not important for me. I tried reinstalling the game, repairing the game files; yet no change. Then i contacted the support team. They told me to follow these steps.

1st one:

EA Play -> Help -> App recovery -> Clear cache

2nd one:

Disable the windows services and reactivate them.

reinstall the EA Play and then the game

No results. My drivers are up to date. Game is running fine, JUST the DLC contents AND my previous in-game progress are missing. APEX and even my achivemenets are in tact.

Before all of this, back when i first launced the game; a notification popped up though. Said something about "not being able to synced to cloud" or something like that. I didn't really pay attention cause like i said my previous saves aren't important for me.

What am i missing? Oh and, now i can't recontact with the support team. My cases are still open but the page doesn't have a button for a live-chat.

  • Found it. I was searching a fix and then i found something on steam. I followed the steps and it solved. I don't know why it was there but my competibility was set to different windows version. I just opened the game files and right clicked to andromeda.exe and then un-checked the compatibility mode and that's it.

  • I've even been able to got the rewards from some APEX missions that i've -God knows how many years ago- completed in that apk for APEX missions.

@destan7795 Hey! so the cloud part would only affect your saves. Sadly if it didn't sync up, or it did and your saves were local or vice versa, those specific saves maybe gone. You can check the save folder to see if they are there and reinstall but unless the EA app locates them, you may have to start over,

As for the deluxe content, that is entitlement-based. So, no one can remove it unless you had EA Play and it was downloaded through the subscription and that sub ended.

Then you get EA Play again but isn't Pro. It would be a basic plan. That can change what you have.

Last reason is you don't own it, someone else logged in, downloaded it, and your account is trying to access it. That is a common one but from what you said not really the issue.

Question for you. Do you have the EA app and the game all saved on the same drive?

Did you change ANY of the install folders for the game or the EA app?

  • Thanks for the quick reply. I purchased the game when it was published in the Origin. I played it without an issue, several times deleted it and redownloaded it. Again, no issue. This is the first time i tried to play a game from my account after Origin became EA Play. I don't have the pro stuff or whatsoever.

That is great that you found it. It is odd that it was set to a different compatibility. I cannot say that has ever happened to me. When you unchecked that option, it basically resolved it for you?

  • Yeah probably i did that in my previous downloads or in this recent one, idk. But yes, it completely fixed the issue. Privious save files are still missing though, but i don't really care about them so no biggy.

@destan7795 That's great news. I am happy to hear that it's been resolved for you. The save files will be a harder one especially since the EA app did a sync and overwrote them. If they aren't in the documents folder. I am afraid they will be gone.
