Some time ago I got Mass Effect Legendary edition. I recently installed the EA Desktop app and was ready to reinstall it only to find it isn't in my list of games, despite it showing up quite clearly in the Origin app, and the fact it is for sale from the EA Desktop app. I'd appreciate this being fixed so I can get rid of the Origin app.

We've made some changes to address this that should help most folks, though it looks like some additional work will be needed to get this fixed up for everyone that had claimed it early on, apologies.
If you clear your cache at this point and are seeing the game in the EA app you should be all set, however for those that still only see this in Origin we're hoping to have an additional fix out shortly. Thanks for hanging in there.
Quick fix for this, download Origin where the game will show, download the game on Origin making sure to create a shortcut on your desktop, after the download is finished close Origin from the taskbar or task manager, after this you will then open EA App and open Mass Effect Legendary Edition from the shortcut on your desktop. You can close it after this and ME:LE will now show in EA App. Silly but it works.
I am having the same problem. I can see it on the Origin website, but not in the EA Desktop app.
Can also confirm that the game is listed on my EA account on the site, but is not available in the EA App client.
Got the game from Prime and I can see it in Origin library on the webpage but doesn't show up in the EA App. I guess I need to reinstall Origin then.
So nearly one year later this bug remains unresolved...
What's the point in having a beta client if EA doesn't update it properly?
Uninstalling this mess and installing Origin again.
Yep just got it on Amazon and its not showing up in the App but i can see it in that i own it in the browser
Yes, I can confirm that I see the game on Origin. However, I've also experienced issues with other games when Origin and EA are both installed. *shrug*

We've passed along those concerns about it not appearing in the EA app as well, however in the meantime you'll be able to link your Prime Gaming and EA accounts, then download Origin to access the offer, thanks!
Having the same issue. Claimed the game, Mass Effect appears in my library on Origin website but when I go to launch it in the EA client its not there. Is there a working fix for this coming in?
