[EA App] Unable to Access Mass Effect 3 N7 Digital Deluxe Content

I had pre-ordered the game from the EA India website before launch, got all the confirmation mails, even received the game codes when the game dropped. I had been playing ME3 since launch, but reduced game time due to RL. Since buying a new gaming laptop I decided to get back into the game and tried to download the game, however I cannot get the ME3DDE on my EA app. At one point, I had an issue with the game, so a CS exec added a standard edition of the game to my account as well. Now I can only see the standard edition, but not the one I had actually bought. When I try to launch the Standard Edition of the game, I get an 'Could not activate' error. I'm confused as to why the game disappeared. Hoping someone can help me get back into the game

Hi @JDJazzmyster13, so realistically, you can delete them all because they are tied to an older game. The moment you launch whichever title its linked to, it will just create the file again as a new one.

What I would do is reset the password first to the EA account so the account refreshes, and then delete them all.

Launch the EA app again, and launch the game again.

@JDJazzmyster13 If changes were made like this, chances are some of the content may have been disabled. We would need to have someone take a look into the account to see what was changed.

That content normally should not go missing unless there is an app issue or account changes were made on our end.

When you download the game, do you actually see the content itself as DLC? The image itself has changed over the years since they consolidated some of the content.

  • @EA_Shepard I've uninstalled the game and re-downloaded all of it - the base game, plus all the available DLCs. I'm still failing to launch the game. I'm adding screenshots of the error message I get when launching, as well as what appears when I click on the 'Manage Add-ons' option from the EA App. Also when I click the option to 'Enter Product key' on the activation screen, it says that I'm not connected to the internet, also attaching that screenshot

@JDJazzmyster13 Can you follow the steps on this link for me?

After deleting the file it asks, just launch the EA app again launch the game again, and see if you get the same error.

  • @EA_Shepard I've gone to the License folder, but can't find the specified file, so I'll attach the additional details requested for in the post. I don't know if my issue is actually related to the issue mentioned in the thread since I had purchased the game directly through the EA site:

    * Windows version and build number (Press Windows keyboard button + R > Type “winver” (without the quotes), and press the Enter button on your keyboard) - included screenshot in the zip attachment
    * EA app version (EA app > Top-left Hamburger Menu > About) - included screenshot in the zip attachmet
    * The region you're from - Currently East Africa, but the game was bought while in the Asia region
    * Are you using an internal or external drive to play your games? - Internal drive
    * Are you using an HDD or SSD? - SSD
    * Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? - Noticed it beginning of 2024
    * Other error(s)? - None
    * If possible, share a screenshot of the Error Code or provide a recording of how exactly the Error Code presents itself (you can use YouTube or Streamable to share these) - there isn't any error code displayed, but included a screenshot in zip attachment
    * Please share a DxDiag - included in the zip attachment
    * Please share an EA app Error Report ID - 79978c89-8d80-4e24-8283-a695d4cfe15f
    * Please share logs of the EA app - included in the zip attachment

@JDJazzmyster13 It could be a few things. It isn't necessarily a Windows issue so to speak. One of the errors you attached is a license error because of the way older games and DRM worked years ago.

The other issues just follow that error. So, In the "License" folder, (C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License), check if you can see a file called "71067.dlf". If you see this, delete it.

You can realistically delete them all because the moment you launch the game associated with the file, it will populate again.

As long as the EA app and game are installed on the same drive.

  • @EA_Shepard thanks for trying to help out, but as I mentioned in the last post, I don't see the specific license file '71067.dlf' that you are referring to. I'm attaching a screenshot of all the license files I do see in the License folder. Furthermore, I tried uninstalling the EA app and then reinstalling it on the same drive as my game installations, but that has failed. The app got installed in the default C drive location, with only the config for game install drive being updated to the path I specified.

  • @EA_Shepard thanks a whole lot, that solved my problem. You, my friend, are a life-saver, I had nearly given up hope
