Eden Prime Crash To Desktop (Not From Video, but after clearing the Pod area of enemies)

Everytime, even if I restart, reinstall/verify files and check for updates, it still crashes after I clear the pod area after finding another way around to it from enemies.  No matter what it'll either crash to desktop, or go black screen with the HUD still showing and loop background noise and I'll have to alt-tab, or ctrl-alt-del out of it.  No this isn't the video thing where you have to do it in a specific order, or even do the esc spamming thing.  

I've checked my video-drivers and they are all up to date, even did a virus scan both malware and regular.  What is going on?  This is so odd the game hasn't crashed since this.
