Edit same character between games?

I mostly like the character I made, but after 8 hours into this save I’m not a fan of my mouth lol. So I’m wondering, when I finish ME1 and port my character to ME2, will I be able to edit my character and change my mouth at all? Thanks.

@JeremyVT725 Nope, when you start ME2, you get a chance to edit your character's appearance after deciding to import from ME1. All the other data carries over.

Think of it as choosing whether to include some extensive facial reconstruction along with all the other rebuilding Cerebrus does to Shepard.

Keep a copy of your face code. When you get to the CC on LE2, choose custom character, plug in your face code, and then edit away.

Will that not ruin the continuation save, losing the story progression stuff?
