Whilst The Witcher 3 is downloading, I'll list some feature and then the CONS, and I'll try pointing out how to help improving? Minding that 'improvements' may be subjective here, just like every personal opinion on this thread from other members. Try seeing this as constructive as intended ... I don't know where to begin HOHOHOHO, let's see, perhaps grouping them:
AUDIO
MUSIC
Make it more ... present? I'm more used to remember songs when I'm fighting, than when I'm having storytelling moments or cutscenes ... I gather we need memorable soundtracking.
VOICE ACTING
Not a CON in itself, but something to improve, I think. Although I'm rather ok, or really not bothered by most of them, Suvi's voice acting is ludicrous. If I don't look at her, it feels like she's whispering all the time, unconnected to what she's doing. It's a matter of taste, of course, but I cannot recall ever having a voice acting that felt so out of place, disconnected and annoying in ME history. Addison's is another agony, and some female Krogans sound like drag queens. On the positive side, I like Jaal's voice (the way he breathes while speaking), Vetra's tersy speeches and Peebee's annoying remarks. I like her "You know it!", because it lively. Then you have Suvi's "Soundz gudz." without much of a tone change.
SOUND EFFECTS
They seem ok. However, we have some annoying repetitive sounds from the Remnant VI. We could have a silence mode as well.
VISUALS AND COSMETICS
ATTIRE
I'm not someone who's constantly updated into fashion. I'm a grunt. But our Ryders apparently stopped in time around our current years. I'm aware that you are planning new cosmetics for SP, so I won't elaborate further.
PYJAK
Although I pet it every time I see it, it feels forlorn. I also would like to point out that we ... don't even given it a name? Besides that, you could make it a bit lively, moving, chewing the furniture, stealing food in the kitchen etc. Another thing: the scripted dialogs when we pat our pyjak prompts from people who aren't currently around, but their voices come out from a wormhole as if they were standing beside us. It's creepy. Prompt conversation from the crew regarding our pyjak when they're on the same room. Even when we are completely alone with it, bodiless voices comment on things they weren't supposed to know. These are details, you know. Not priority, but they help making sense of the ambiance.
NOMAD PAINTING
I like those two paintings, Platinum the most. I think we could make a few custom ones, perhaps finding some special paintings and materials later on. Or even a hand-made one. Imagine someone painting the Nomad all yellow and drawing a smiley on it? Cute.
WOMEN'S UGLINESS
Whichever a few online social media justicars' opinion is that beauty is a demon, that's completely nonsense. Everything is a part of a whole. Even beauty. Breaking news: beautiful people also have the right to be the way they are. All women in the game is mild|ugly. There might not have an exception. Even Vetra, which is a complete non-human, tops most of human women. Please, fix this.
ITEMS TO BRING TO TEMPEST
You can explore a bit more the customization of the Tempest. All the crew could scavenge some interesting stuff to have in the Tempest, mementos, pieces of art, weapons, plants, furniture, Archon's mummified head etc.
POST-MERIDIAN COLONIES
We have cut scenes showing some ... transformations at some places. Then you travel there ... where are these transformations? You could implement some of them on the horizon, places where we cannot reach by foot, but that make the impression that Meridian are boosting those planets. This is another detail that helps with making sense of things.
BODY LANGUAGE
Listen: communication, when face-to-face, is mainly body language. I'm sure that face animation has its perks and importance, but it gets overwhelmed if the body is limp like a slice of cold ham. You need to complement language in the game with body language. A good example is exactly the meme face-tired scene, making Addison place her hand over her eyes. That's body language. If you hadn't done that, just fixing eye shaders or some eyebrow movement wouldn't help that much. Complement animations with body language. When someone says NO, make their head shake, slightly or ruefully, following their tone. It's just that basic.
DRUNK WOMAN ON PRODROMOS
I think someone thought it would so funny? Give her a job. Sending a complete wacko to Prodromos, our first successful Outpost, who stays wacko forever, seems completely at odds with everything we do in the game. If we can get some people out of cryo, I'm sure we can send some straight back in!
MAP AND NAVIGATION
They are not good. You are often confused by how things are shown on that ruler on the top of the screen, not to mention not identifying when things are underground or above, specially when you are spot on.
STORY, THE ANGARA, THE KETT, THE MILKY WAY
I think all the part of the first contacts, both with the angara and the kett were rushed. Of course there were many ways to lead them. What i suggest for future is detailing and deepening things. Make them feel like they are a hardship, that they are a challenge. For reference, I have written something on this subject in this other thread:

I agree with what's been said on the preview posts. If going for Open World game, it must be really well-designed to be effective in a game with strong story telling such as ME. Besides, many things seemed not to be reviewed, the possibility of people not doing the obvious first, getting later to do any task they should have done before, the a mess of things triggering or not triggering. Well, you know what I mean by now. Surely that having the Nomad brings the feeling of ME1, exploration, and also, fast forward stations help a lot by sparing our time traveling great distances. Still, a bit dull.
