Feedback: Steam Deck verification
Right now, Mass Effect Legendary Edition is deemed "playable" on Steam deck, according to the verification indicator. The listed problems are:
- The launcher may require mouse input (or touch screen).
- Some instances of required keyboard input (e.g. entering Shepard's first name) where the player needs to manually access Steam Deck's virtual keyboard overlay.
Add to this that there's no option to download each Mass Effect game separately, meaning the Legendary Edition has a download size of 120 GB, which is substantial, considering Steam Deck comes in 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB variants.
While it seems that post-release support for Mass Effect Legendary Edition has ended, I hope BioWare and EA could consider another update to make Mass Effect a Steam Deck verified game, preferably with each game as its own separate entry to reduce download sizes.
