Feros companion problem
Just finished Feros and as soon as I started the Zhu sidequests in the ruins my companions stopped following me. They would stand in place cycling their idle animations and drawing/holstering when I ...
Happens to me too, also on Feros, i didn't do Noveria before that,
just got Liara. Playing on PC (teammates Liara & Tali).
It's absolutely insane how this went past beta testing, wasn't noted
in any of the reviews i saw and on all of the internet, this is the only
post i found about it. I have encountered 5-10 more bugs with half
of them being severe - in 5 hours of gameplay. Like exiting the Mako
and not being able to re-enter, thus not being able to leave the planet
thus loosing all of your progress back to when the last save was.
On Feros, the 3 Krograns (where you dispose of the Geth beacon)
will merge into one and get stuck in a wall - which was good for
me, since my allies were still stuck on the other end of the map
where you kill the alpha warren and afterwards beamed themselves
to Ian Newsteads position when i talked to him.
I also geht some flash of what i think is an error message, but can't
read it as it disappears after 1/10 second.
I think for the rather small amount of improvements this game got
over the original, the amount of bugs is rather high and the game
is no fun to play if you're in constant fear of losing game progress
due to these bugs. Not playing this until the next patch comes out
and i told my friends to stay away for the time being.
The more I hear about the PC version the grimmer my opinion on it becomes. I also had problems with the 3 Krogans, I would enter the room and exit, trying to get the companions back. When I returned the Krogans were standing in the hallway and didn't react to my pistol fire, resulting in easy clear.
The game still needs so much work, as pretty as it looks.
