Whatever is on the Quarian ark will be the DLC expansion squad.
Tali'Zorah Vas Tempest
I think she would keep the name "Normandy" but she is about my number one choice of hopefuls.
After her,I want a squad of Asari. Whole crew.
I want to defect.
LOL yes Vas Tempest just doesnt sound right...
Here's to hoping she shows up soon.
Esu Se'Lai Pathfinder
They did say the quarian ark left a bit later so they could have a post-ME3 ending crew, but then they'd have to canonize an ending, which they're not going to do. I'm going to assume the quarian ark left before the Reaper invasion.
The Quarian ark still had something between half a year to a year of leeway before the Reaper invasion, and on top of that, the initial post-Khar'shan Reaper invasion essentially beelined for the major homeworlds (Earth, Palaven) and concentrated there. Thessia came later. Rannoch and Tuchanka didn't merit a full Reaper presence, and Sur'Kesh seemingly went ignored. The Quarian Ark could've conceivably left during the initial stages of the Reaper war, and I suspect that the DLC that introduces them will have us fighting leftover Reaper forces that managed to get aboard and partially infest the Ark.
In this regard, they wouldn't have to canonize any particular ending, because they would've left before it'd been decided.
And no, Tali wouldn't be one of the characters aboard the Ark, her simple presence in ME3 aboard the Normandy, provided she survived the suicide mission, precludes this.
I'd say Kesh, but I want a romanceable female krogan

Agreed that it is unlikely Bioware would canonise an ending thus to my great disappointment the Normandy crew would be forever lost to us... Well unless there's a management change at EA/Bioware and the new head honchos are real fans. With regards to the reapers, however, it is unlikely that we will fight them in MEA. The little ones, the husk/marauders/banshees/brutes etc, are controlled by the reapers, Any of the red/blue/green endings would severe this control. Unless Shepard goes all philosophical and the cycle continues. Once again without a stamp on a canon ending it wont happen.
