Game breaking Crash at Collector Station, Mass Effect 2

The game crashes right after the cutscene where I choose whether to destroy of keep the Human Reaper at Collector Station (after the the part where you destroy the four ''feeding tubes'') I tried three times and it always happens at the same moment. This must be fixed, because it completely prevents me from beating the game.

  • @bigoboyz  Please try verifying the integrity of the MELE files again, this time with your antivirus disabled if you have one.  I've seen a number of players report that the second or third repair fixed what the first one didn't, and also that an antivirus seemed to block a proper repair.

It's probably not related to this issue, but you'll get better performance if you plug your monitor into your graphics card rather than the motherboard.

  • Try repair/verify files of your install and see if it fixes the issue.  Usually this is a missing or corrupt file that can be fixed.  If this doesn't fix it, then post up more info on your system, ie, which console or if PC a DxDiag file.

Yeah sorry I forgot to specify that I already verified the integrity of my files using steam. I am running the game on PC.

    OS : Windows 10

    CPU : Intel Core i7 @ 3.70GHz

GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti

I have the game in Origin only....doesn't steam start Origin and then the game??  If you can in Origin, see if you can find the game page and use the cog icon to repair the install with Origin.

If this doesn't work, then please post a DxDiag file.. you can use this thread from the Dragon Age Inquisition forum to see the info needed to help and how to post it here....https://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/How-to-post-the-relevant-info-when-you-create-a-question/m-p/4356255#M47685

Since I have the game on Steam, repairing the files using Origin does the same thing as if I did it via Steam. To reiterate my issue, there is no error message, the game simply exits to desktop when I reach the point I mentioned in my first post. Here is the hastebin link for my dxdiag :
