I ran into the same problem. Found a trick though, but only for PC users.
When confirming that you want to land on the Nexus (when the landing cinematic starts, use Alt+Tab on your keyboard to get back to your computer desktop. Just wait until you feel that the animation should be over (something like 30 sec, just the make sure), and then get back on the game by clicking its icon on the task bar.
(Im using Windows 7)
Hope this will work for you guys, never went through that problem again since i've been using this technique.
