I'm sorry if this topic was already discussed somewhere on the forum, but I was not able to find it and Customer Experience suggested to reinstall the game and create a Question here. The problem is: Apparently, I'm not able to change the language of Mass Effect Andromeda, due to region restrictions. The only text language I can use is russian, although I am not from russia, and I didn't bought it in russia. I want to change the language to English and I am sure that it is possible to do.The question is: Is it possible to make some king of conversion of the game, maybe pay some commission for that, to change the language? If it is, it's not a problem, just please provide a possibility to change the language.

@GonzoWhocares Hey, I took a look and I see that you do have the version that should allow all languages. I also saw you had an EA Play sub which could be conflicting when you download the game. If you have the game installed please first uninstall it. and then go to the EA App Store, type in the game, and see if two game icons show up for you. One would say in the library or EA Play on it. just to make sure it isn't downloading the EA Play one. I would like you to test out the app for me. When you go to download the game again, does this option show up for you? Can you change it to the language you want? Once that is downloaded can you go into the settings and check and see if, when installed in another language it gives you the option to choose English? I installed the same version I see you have from within my library and I can see the changes. If all you see is one specific language, that would indicate either a bad install or the wrong language version is being installed.

@pain-zik-pain Unfortunately there isn't a way to change language in a case like this, nor is there an upgrade/language pack route. Hypothetically, a different version of the game would need to be purchased, one with more available languages. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hope this helps clarify things.

The old App allowed to change the language. Has there been any changes or is there a command line to change it?
Because that Is a pretty strange thing to do. Haveing a game in different languages and then not offering them.

You also could not have changed the language in Origin if the game was purchased in this region.

The region itself is language locked. (For this and afaik about any other game they sell.)

Unfortunately I have this same exact issue with Andromeda. I bought it back on origin when it came out and I have played it in english before. But now when I wanted to replay the whole thing I had to install it from scratch thanks to the change to the ea app and I couldn't set the language to english again.

To be very clear here, I have bought and played the game in english, but now its in german.
I do not want to play the game in german.

I can change the text language, but not the voice over. And the german VO is attrocious.

I bought the deluxe edition in origin back when it came out. I installed it, played it in english twice, never uninstalled it. Now I wanted to replay it and the EA App told me I have no access. So I reinstalled it and now its with english text and german VO. And yes, I'm located in germany.

And the german VO is very much attrocious. Alec Ryder talks to his child like one would to a stranger. No native german speaker had their hand in doing the translation.
