game crashes after bioware intro

Can you try the steps outlined in this post as well?

There are a couple other things aside from the Windows user name that may need to be checked as well, so I'd check through that thread starting with the steps in that particular post to see if it helps out. 

The same thing was happening to me and I just fixed it by turning off "Controlled folder access" under the Windows Security settings.  Hope this helps

Thx, I just had an issue where none of my Origin games were working, while all other platforms were working fine, I was going crazy...
Turning off "Controlled folder access" solved launch issues for all my Origin games
