HELP Bioware: How they can improve MEA to evolve into the best game ever!

(Sorry for my english first *Hug* 🐱 )

You want that Bioware is listening to you? That´s how it works: Let's start a thread for Bioware. BUT: Make it possible and easy for the staff at Bioware to read it. Don't write too much!

Hey Bioware! THANKS for a great game! We are fans and we value your great work. If you make further patches and DLC's could you please reform / change a few things. So Andromeda could become an even better game as it is now. Here our personal ideas. THANKS A LOT FOR LISTENING!

Fellow Fans, please write here in this thread:

- 5 Ideas (PLEASE NOT MORE!) how Bioware could make from Mass Effect Andromeda the best game ever! Your personal Top 5.

- Write SPECIFIC: Short keywords, NO whole phrases. As pointed as possible.

- Be polite - no flaming - no blaming - no reproach - no (stupid) comments - no jokes! Bioware staff are humans like you (and me)! Treat them like you want to be treaded. And this game is also their "baby".

PLEASE: Write ONLY 5 ideas - NO NO NO NO discussion or argumentation or whatsoever. Start a new thread if you want to discuss some finer points of previously mentioned ideas.

 -----------------------------------------------

My personal ideas (one can dream after all) are:

1.) Better human & asari faces! Better looking humans and asari. Not so "washy Turian faces".

2.) Better / other romances for straight females (and others)

3.) Make it possible to equip the whole squad.

4.) More possibilitys to spend money (room improvment? own house?)

5.) MORE planets & more Ark's and more, more MEA .... (gladly AFTER the end)

Thanks & Hugs! ❤️

EDIT:

GREAT idea from @Aggi_dd_orig :

 @Rappeldrache

Good idea.
Small suggestion for improvement: How do you give the employees, from BioWare and EA, motivation, to continue the reading?

Write a positive fact from MEA in your posting. Only one, so think seriously about it. Thus, a positive curiosity is created for the employee.

I want to add from the bottom of my heart:

THANKs a lot Bioware - FOR ME (!!!) ME Andromeda is really stable and works fine (PC). I talk for me!

(I'm playing ME1 right now and I have really a lot of trouble with an old *gooddamendfucking-Ihateit* bug ... it's soooo nerve-racking. I "miss" ME Andromeda really a lot. 😢 )

    Alright, my turn.

    1) Being able to change squadmates' gear. Come on guys, even ultra-rare augments say "Only Ryder can use it" so you were planning on allowing us to customize squadmates at some point.

    2) More skill slots (at least 5 would be great) and/or no cd after switching profiles. Actually I think your powers should still be on cooldown after switching profiles, because otherwise you could just have 4 profiles with a lot of primers/detonators and destroy an entire wave of ennemies by spamming your skills one after another. However, there are so much possibilities in the game, each tree has 9 active skills, which is 27 in total, and you are only able to use 3 of them (which is 11%) at a given time... You gave us a lot of freedom in our character customization, but you spoiled it by drastically limiting the possibilities during fights. Please, 5 powers would be great. And please, I'd also like to be able to use my teammates' powers when I want to, you know, like in the previous Mass Effect games...

    3) Balance weapons in both SP and MP. Sniper rifles and pistols are too powerful, and most assault rifles suck. Ennemy level scaling should also be looked into.

    4) More choices, more consequences, make the loyalty missions impactful, allow me for instance to be able to rescue both Raeka and the Krogan team if I fulfilled some prerequisites (Loyalty missions? Nexus upgrades?) before.

    5) Fixes, patches, patches, and more patches. A lot. Animations, fluidity, faces, all of these can be improved. By the way how the hell did we go from https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Qkbv3 to what we got at the release?

    Bonus suggestion: Lexi. Please.

ME:A has the possibility to be an extremely good game, but a lot of work is needed, and depending on how Bioware/EA handles it, I will or will not buy any subsequent DLC/games. And I am probably not the only one to think this way.

    1) To make up for the mishap in the release, maybe put out some kickin' DLC like extra hair options, more casual clothes, and some armor as a good faith try to let your fans and players know you are listening and appreciate them.

    2) An expansion pack. Not just story DLC because at this point with so much content left over and hinted at by the end of the main game, it seems like an expansion would do it justice. You can open up new worlds to explore, make some of those already explored worlds now have some gameplay on them. Like ME2 where you randomly find a signal and go to investigate and find some shenanigans planetside. You can make one for the Quarian Ark mission and maybe open up some more for the Benefactor and Ryder family secrets or even put them all in one big expansion pack. Also use this to upgrade the Nomad and Tempest. Now that we got baddies out there, time for some artillery!

    3) More time to spend with your LI perhaps a date at the vortex or in your quarters

    4) Mini games - I was disappointed there was no actual  Firebreathing Thresher Maws of Doom in-game with Drack, Kesh, and Vorn. Imagine a MET throwback if you added this in when you meet Drack at the vortex. Fade out. Fade In and you're on a simulated planet playing your character fight Thresher Maws with Drack, Kesh, and Vorn right beside you (like that one mission in New Tuchanka). Kind of like how Nathan Drake and Elena were playing Crash Bandicoot.

    5) Definitely fix the glitches and such. At this point with so many varying issues and bugs, test the game before relaunching it in full. It may be a pain, no it probably WILL be a pain to redownload, but if it means a smoother game with tested QA, it could be a step in the right direction.

Positive fact: This game brought me out of my years long game slump and really made me care for its characters, the story, and the worldbuilding so much that I played it twice but had to stop because of the bugs. Still I'm really eager to play it again for the third time and even more eager to have more content, especially with Ryder. Thank you guys for the awesome experience.

(I hope that wasn't too long lol)

      All Multiplayer

    1. Make a male ninja like the N7 Slayer or just put him on the game. All the N7 characters really would be the way to go.

    2. No supplies or level 1 and 2 consumables should come from a premium or expert pack, level 3's and up.

3.Ultra rare are way too rare. Tone it down Please

    4. Bring back the cover kill from ME3. It was the best kill.

    5. Something is wrong with the camera view. I think its zoomed too close in. Make it adjustable. The camera jurks around too much also.

yeah I'd like to give my current list on that:

Continue improving the graphics. Each patch has helped and its' really making a positive difference. Keep working especially on the harsh lighting but the last patch seems to have looked at that already.

For the love of anything anyone prays to, please work on the audio. The ambient music is too low in volume and when I turn around the sound really shouldn't drop 80%. It's ridiculous how much the volume drops when npcs/companions are at some distance (especially during convo's) or when you simply face another way. When somebody behind me shouts in my ear it sound just as loud as someone who shouts in my ear when I'm facing them. Also opening crates and memo pads should not cut off audio. It's completely bizarre. So yeah lots of audio stuff.

And yes the UI. You took away one of the best buttons in the UI...tab. Tab could bring you back into the game from any screen in the UI with one click. I am back to having to click 3-4 times each time I open a screen like the map or quest log. And about the quest log. With adding the open world type questing we need to be able to track more than 1 quests. Three would be good using different colours/symbols for each.

Character creation. Nice improvements but I still want to be able to pick more things like nose and brow shapes. And yeah, do something about facial hair and blond hair colours. It looks horrible.

Those are my main points at the moment. My list was longer though so keep the patches coming, they're really helping.
