help needed: omega dlc crash - very specific location

crashing right after defeating cerberus in the area where turn off omega's defenses in control room.   steps tried (based on internet research and experience with other bugs in legendary editio...

    @Mechcentric 

    You can try to repair the game.

    (Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
    (Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

    This however will purge all Mods that are installed.

    I see no way around that because it has to be determined if a mod or a corrupt game file is the culprit.

UPDATE: FIXED

either repair game or turn off auto save fixed it

UPDATE 2: tried again after reinstalling mods with autosave off and it worked

Just as an FYI, I encountered the same issue in a slightly different place. Disabling auto saves also fixed it.
