How do you open doors?

I'm a beginner on Mass Effect 3 and I can't figure out how to open doors. Any help would be greatly appreacited. Thanks!

    Some do not open.

    Walk up to them and a circle should appear around it.  It will also have a green light in the middle.

    Press the One button do do everything (Space on PC, A on Xbox?, X on PS3?) when it highlights and mentions at the top of the screen to Open the door.
