How to launch game on Origin Launcher without Steam prompting EA App?

Hi, so I'm lost.

The reason I am asking as the title says is because this is the solution I see on the forums here and on Steam in order to fix the Achievements bug issue. But I don't know how to ensure Steam launches the game on Origin rather than on EA because I do have both installed on my laptop but when I have Origin Launcher opened, it forcibly prompts me to use EA App instead by blocking me from clicking anything else as seen in the picture attached here.

Please help me.

    From February 14, it is mandatory to install up to a new EA application (EA APP).
    This causes problems with getting achievements in ME:LE.
    Everything is fine with the first part of the game: you can get achievements. But there are problems with the second and third part - achievements are not counted.
     
     
    2. PROBLEM SOLUTION
    To resolve this issue, you must have the ORIGIN client installed (and delete EA APP if you have it). You need to set the date on the PC to the previous mandatory update date. For example, I set it to February 10th.
    After that, when launching ME:LE through Steam, you must refuse to install the EA APP.
    Next, we are waiting for the launch of the game and enjoy.
    After exiting the game, return the correct date.
    It WORKS!

    I Should not have to reset the date on my PC for this to work. I Bought this thru Steam. If they Cannot launch the game from there new EA Play, Then EA SHOULD FIX IT.

    @Citizen_Cookwont that mess up the time stamp of the achievements on steam? also my last save was on feb 15., wont that mess up my save file as my new save is newer?

    EA have since disabled this fix. But no, it didn’t. However, if you go over to the Steam guides for this game you’ll find a new fix that i made a guide for which is still valid.
