I can't get my debit card verified as a form of payment

I'm trying to buy mass effect 3 but whenever I try to enter my card as a form of payment it says that they can't verify this credit card, but there is no way to say it's a debit card or anything. Why ...

    You must save your billing information to your origin account first to make any new purchase in the new origin store after you save it log out and log in to origin and you will be all set to go 

    if you don't know how to do that go to origin press origin in the top bar scroll down then press Account Privacy after that press Payment and Shipping and then add your billing information 

    if this does not work then 

    For this you will need to contact Origin/EA support they will gladly help you whit this problem  https://help.ea.com/en/origin go here press contact as give information press I still need help at the bottom of the page and then press start live chat and you will get a live chat whit an EA agent that will be glad to help you

I know my information is 100 percent correct, but it still won't even let me add my credit card as a payment method in my billing and payments. This is stupid, and EA is going to lose business over this, seeing as how you can't even USE most of their products without making at least one purchase...What are we supposed to do, give them cash through the freakin' monitor? It's enough to make you want to smash your own computer/device to bits...
