Incineration specialist achievement bugged

I recently decided to 100 % Mass Effect legendary edition. But I’ve run into a problem: Incineration specialist won’t unlock. In the in game achievements it shows that I incinerated the armour of 25 enemies but the achievement itself didn’t unlock, neither on steam, nor origin, not even in game. I tried to unlock it again but fulfilling the requirements again and again but it just doesn’t work. Is there anything I can do?

Try to clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.

You will need an interconnection to register the game again after this.

    • Close Origin completely.
(right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close)
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
    • Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder.
(The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.)
    • Move the "Mass Effect Legendary Edition" folder from inside the "LocalContent" folder to your desktop.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%AppData%" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
    • Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder.
    • Delete the "Origin"  folder inside the "Roaming" folder.
    • In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on "AppData".
    • Open the "Local" folder.
    • Delete the "Origin"  folder inside the  "Local" folder.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER.
    • Move the "License" folder to your Desktop > Test.
    • Restart your PC. > Test.

  • This one completed for me three days ago (Origin version).  I’m not 100% sure, but I think the enemy either has to die on fire, or the last of the armour needs to be burned off with it.  It’s taken me almost the entire game to get it, as well.

Have you tried a Steam or Origin repair?

I tried repairs and even reinstalled the game twice, sadly didn’t work ):. I made sure that the Armor that I incinerated was completely gone after only incineration, and my game tells me I incinerated 25/25 armours. I appreciate the tip though, but so far repairing hasn’t been the solution.

Sorry for the late answer ^^|| I cleared the Cache and luckily the in game achievement menu shows I incinerated 0/25 armours so I can redo it :D Thank you very much!
